Eric Zandona is a writer, consultant, spirit judge, and the Director of Spirits Information for the American Distilling Institute. He entered the spirits industry in 2011, editing and contributing to four books on distilled spirits for White Mule Press. Since then, he has authored The Bourbon Bible and The Tequila Dictionary, written for Distiller magazine and Gin magazine, and created the spirits blog EZdrinking.com. In April 2016, he became the Director of ADI’s Judging of Craft Spirits, and has also served as Spirits Panel Judge for the International Wine & Spirits Competition. In 2018, he was a shortlist nominee for IWSC’s Spirits Communicator of the Year Award, and in 2019, The Bourbon Bible was a Top 10 Nominee for Best New Book on Drinks Culture, History or Spirits for Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards.
