Jason Stevens is the Director of Beverage for the La Corsha Hospitality Group. Obsessed with the hows and whys of deliciousness, he aspires to bring better living through better drinking to the citizens of Austin, TX and beyond.
When he’s not conducting super-secret booze experiments in his hidden lab beneath the tranquil Colorado river, Jason can be found tinkering and teaching in the bars and prep kitchens of Second Bar + Kitchen Downtown, Second Bar+ Kitchen Domain, Boiler Nine, Stagecoach Inn, and Mattie’s at Green Pastures. For extra fun, Jason operates a craft-forward bar catering service, Cocktail Commissary catering, conducts in-home bar education, Bottled in Bond consulting group, and consults with farm-to-market and slow-food caterers. His passion for bar craft lies in drink creation and development of original house-made cocktail ingredients using locally sourced products and produce, as well as educating others on the craft of the cocktail.
People say nice things about Jason and are happy for his success winning local and national awards, both of which he appreciates. In addition to his work with La Corsha, Stevens is the co-owner of Bad Dog Bar Craft bitters company. He’s easy to talk to about all things booze, but hard to get to stop.
